[ILUG] Phone-PDA + linux

[ILUG] Phone-PDA + linux

Over the last week or two my phone's been dying. Aeriel broke, now screen
gone.

I'm soon up for esat upgarde deal and was thinking along those lines when I
saw the Siemens SX45.  it's a lovely looking little PDA/Phone with 16bit
color WinCE PocketPC 2000 etc.

I am set against buying a dedicated PDA due to

* that's two things to carry
* I lose things frequently

With a PDA/Phone I am insured for loss and it's all in one little box in my
pocket,so both problems are solved moreorless.

Anyway, the SX45 probably isn't what I want, but can anyone tell me:

1) Other similar devices which they've tried and their experience

2) In particular ones which linux would go onto

3) What PDAs in general will linux work on? What are the criteria, is it
just the processor? How do you go about loading any new OS onto one of these?

Much thanks in advane

Gavin
