 Point being that its not released, so its behind, and will be, until it's
released. And, once a new distro comes out, it'll be behind for another
three years till there is a new debian distro.

 It's curious. Most people that advocate debian use the unstable
or testing versions. In the redhat world, x.0 is "testing", x.1 is
"unstable" and x.2 is "release" :)
