But the dummy address would never be used to send anything so 
nobody would ever receive mail from it.  It would never be publicly 
displayed anywhere so no legitimated email user would even know it 
exists.  You make it available to address harvesters by placing it on a 
web page or two inside a comment or other non-displayed element.
