I installed the Debian package they have, but didn't keep it because it
didn't seem to be recognising any fonts I had installed, beyond courier.

So it looked horrible and I reverted to Opera 5; I know someone else has
this problem, but noone here seems to have. Anyone know what could be
wrong?

I use xfs-xtt and X4.1.
