Simulated ... (laptop isn't handy ...)

# cd /dev
# pwd
/dev
# ls -alrt cdrom
lrw-r--r-- date date size cdrom -> ../cdroms/cdrom0
# 

I wouldn't mind it being linked to cdroms/cdrom0 which both exists and
works, but ../cdroms doesn't exist at all ...
You also can't rm -f the damned thing to recreate it properly, which is a
right PITA

P <wondering if this is linked to the libdvdread problems he's having ...>
