Should work if you pass -indirect option to X server e.g.
	Xnest :1 -indirect myhost
where myhost is the hostname or IP address of your local display.
File /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers might be the place to put it
You could also use -query option to choose a specific host.
File /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess can restrict hosts available to chooser.
man Xserver
				Jak.

>how do i get the chooser to run on a local xdm managed display?  i can't
>convince xdm to do it.  anyone do this?
