The settings that are required for the Jetdirect service are:
Printer IP: which is set to the correct IP address
and,
Port: which is defaulted to 9100, same as on the win2k box.
The CUPs software has just finished downloading, so I will try that
and see what it says.

I have tested the print queue with both the HP Laserjet 4000 settings
for Postscript, lj5gray, lj5mono and pxlmono, as well as plain raw (as on
win2k), but none of them have worked so far
