The rollers pulling the paper in get either dirty (a good scrub with meths
can fix this) or worn. If it's worn they are using heavier paper will
delay the problem from getting worse for a while, otherwise replace the
rollers which can cost more than it's worth & is a tricky enough thing to
do at the best of times. I know of people who've sorted worn rollers by
wrapping elastic bands round them, finickey to do but if you don't mind
pulling your printer apart every month or so (depending on usage) it might
be a very cheap option.
