[ILUG] Printing woes

[ILUG] Printing woes

Brendan Halpin brendan.halpin at ul.ie

I have recently installed RH 7.1 and have problems with the print
queue.

Inter alia, it seems that stuff that ghostscript should put on
stderr is getting sent to the printer (i.e. DSC comments like
"%%[ Page 1 ]%%") mixed in with the correct output.

/etc/printcap looks like this:

lp:\
	:sh:\
	:ml=0:\
	:mx=0:\
	:sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:\
	:lp=/dev/lp0:\
	:lpd_bounce=true:\
	:if=/usr/share/printconf/mf_wrapper:

Anyone clue me in on where to look to figure this out?

Brendan
