That depends on what the other machine had. If it had one IDE drive as say
primary master and the CD as primary slave (or even as secondary master)
then you'll have no problem - maybe :-) As I think I mentioned, the safest
way to do this is to finally run LILO when the box is up in its operational
hardware configuration and that can sometimes necessitate booting from a
floppy.
