I've heard people recommend using Coldsync for Visors.  

Personally, when my old mongrel Palm-I-upgraded-to-Pro-with-SuperPilot
died, I went for a Palm IIIxe instead of VisorPro specifically to avoid
having to deal with USB on Linux.
