Well, after all my bitching, I decided to try a few more DVD's. Seems I can
watch The Mummy Returns and the Mummy returns bonus disc 2, but not the Mummy
Bonus Disc2? And the DVD's I had been trying were the Hitchhiker Guide to the
Galaxy and it's bonus disc, which also don't work :(
Changing the permisions for scd1 helped as well. The device is /dev/cdrom2
which is linked to /dev/scd1. cdrom2 had 666 but scd2 had 660. I suppose I
should have changed myself to the cdrom group, but I'm lazy.
Now I just need to work on tweeking my system so I can get better than 9-11
fps. I also wish I could find out why only certain DVD's work. I ws realy
looking forward to watching H2G2!
