So, having installed the Grub bootloader (RH7.2) to a boot partition
how would I go about moving it to the MBR ? I tried going back through
custom setup and changed the option to install it in the MBR but it decided
there was no kernel image associated with it so it didn't take. I'll fiddle
with it again when I go home this evening but if anyone knows an easy way of
doing this it might save me some measure of heartache later.
Aside: If redhat make the installation any more user friendly I
won't be able to use the damned thing. Yes I was to use fdisk, no I don't
want the bloody thing to launch inside a graphical window. Oh for crying out
loud I can set up the inittab myself, leave me alone !! Even in expert mode
it tries to do everything for you :( sheesh.
thanks,
steve
