Hi,
I sent an email in Irish their a few moments ago. All appeared on my
screen beautifully with fadas (acutes) and the works. However, when I went
to look at it in my sent-mail, it was a mess of '?' chars instead of fada
(acute) characters.
The header of my message has
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii:iso-8859-1:utf-8
I got the reply and it was the same story. It was as follows:
Content-type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
My terminal is a normal gnome-terminal and uses ISO-8859-15.
Anyone off the top of their heads know what I'm doing wrong. Is it a mutt
setting a vim setting a pager setting a terminal setting or what. In case
it helps below I'm typing small a-u with fadas
a e i o u
Gavin
