[ILUG] POP proxy ?

[ILUG] POP proxy ?

I'm wondering is there a means of allowing users to pop a mailbox on one
server from another?

The problem is we have a server, called box1 for the purposes of
illustration ;), that accepts incoming mail (relayed via MX records), and
sits behind a firewall, without port 25 or 110 accessible from the internet.

We've set up a server, box2, with port 25 and 110 open, and thats acting as
our outgoing mail relay at the moment. So would it be possible for users to
pop their mail accounts on box1 by going through box2.
