Hi All,
With the massive amount of lay offs and stuff like that I though it might be
a good idea if something like the following could be organised. IF people in
different areas who are currently seeking employment or people who have
spare time on their hands can get together to hold weekly or monthly skill
transfer meetings. The idea is a bunch of linux heads come together and
share their experiences. For example some ppl my be really well up on apache
but not so on mail systems. Well a bit of skills trading here would go well,
and also bolster up our CV's and make sure we keep in touch with each other
and the industry.
They are less formal that ILUG f2f's and talks and more of a get together
informally to trade information and stuff.
If anyone is interested please mail me off list or if the education list is
still going any feedback? I am sure I can arrange a premises or even my own
kitchen etc etc till we don't need them anymore.
Cheers
Aj
P.S. If anything is to come of this mail, just let it be that we all look
out for each other.
