Warning: Holy War possibility :)

Slackware is not as userfriendly as Redhat but it does require a higher
level of self reliance than distros like RH or Suse. Slackware 8.1 has
been released and it is still a 1 CD installation for the main
part. (Base/X/KDE/Gnome). RedHat 7.3 is certainly impressive and is
actually a lot easier to instal when it comes to autodectection and
automatic X configuration.
