No, actually this is called sarcasm - a slightly sophisticated form of
wit; one form of which has the accomplishments of an individual
playfully exaggerated in importance to point out the individual's
self-importance and/or inflexibility.

To be honest, I could probably count on less than one finger the amount
of people who care what you've done or not done. Your conduct on the
list has been obnoxious.
You asked for help last week and wound up insulting a lot of people.
That thread eventually died away. Then you asked for advice about some
shyster asking you for your root password and got lots of reasoned,
helpful advice - that one went well. Now today you go back to being
Captain Wanker. Does the next thread you're involved in will be
courteous?
