Dell certify all their PowerEdge servers with Red Hat, so I presume
that they've gotten the Broadcom NIC working.  I've not heard of any
unusual trouble with the Broadcom NIC under Linux.  Dell have
downloadable drivers at

http://www.domsch.com/linux/ also has lots of information on running
Linux on the PowerEdges.
