 Ah. Best case, it did nothing. Worst case, it wasn't Linux at all, and
was actually a dose of virii for your Windows installation to play with.

 It's possible that it was a single-floppy version of Linux. In that case,
it's unlikely it'll have any printer drivers.

 It's considerably better at running Windows (AKA Win32) programs.

 Hmm. A single floppy version of Linux, with Wine ? You seem to be a
little confused. Take a nap. Has to be said, it's not that surprising that
your windows install crashes all the time considering that you take stuff
from strange men in internet cafes. And install software that they give
you too.
