let's say there is a mail host primary.foo.tld. it has a backup
mx called backup.foo.tld. primary has to go down for about a day.
sendmail on backup will queue the mail, but it will start sending out
warning messages a the 4 hour mark. can that time be changed *just*
for its backup mx role?
i still want the warnings for queued mail sent at 4 hours from backup
(which is the primary mail server for another domain). but for the mail
being queued for primary.foo.tld i want it held quietly for a day.
essentially i currently have this:
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUEWARN', `4h')dnl
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUERETURN', `5d')dnl
and i'd really like:
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUEWARN', `primary.foo.tld', `1d')dnl
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUERETURN', `primary.foo.tld', `30d')dnl
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUEWARN', `default', `4h')dnl
dnl define(`confTO_QUEUERETURN', `default', `5d')dnl
i'm guessing in sendmail you would do this with separate queues?
