[ILUG] Fritz USB ISDN TA

[ILUG] Fritz USB ISDN TA

I think that the vendor supplied module makes it act as an acm device.
To use it I have to run capiinit which then loads up the module and any
dependencies.
I'm tempted to try and get my mitts on a copy of Suse 7 or 8 to try it with
that.

	David.

Hmm. If it's just an ACM device, you should be able to plug it right in
and access it via /dev/ttyACM0 or thereabouts. Details in
/usr/src/linux*/Documentation/acm/usb.txt . I didn't have to do any
compiling on my pretty stock RedHat 7.3 install. Or the 7.2 install,
come to that.

Cheers,
Waider.
