What does it say in the Mailman error log?
Also what MTA are you using? With qmail you will need to use the qmail-to-
sendmail.pl script to convert the email addresses. If it's sendmail, have
you done this:
% cd /etc/smrsh
% ln -s /home/mailman/mail/wrapper wrapper
Or otherwise ensured that Sendmail can execute the mailman wrapper?
