[ILUG] Problems with eircom.net mail?

[ILUG] Problems with eircom.net mail?

Well thats not necessarily a stupid question, coz I use Internet Exploder
5.0 to access my anytime.ulsterbank.com web banking stuff. I haven't tried
outlook express, but I have tried Outlook2000 [to access exchange
mailserver] It [bankingsoft] doesn't work with netscrape 4.7x on linux
[supposedly works on doze] at least I never got it working.

Ulsterbank use digital java certificates that don't import in
mozzy/netscrape 4.7.x/netscrape 6.x/konkers, so the only option [that I know
of] is to cp it to the doze java dir, so.... with wine and using
fake_windozs [c:\windows\java directory] it works grand. Now all I need is a
supported wineX graphics board coz voodoo's are nicht supported. Anyone
selling a kickass board for cheap?

Its not just them there numbers, in Dublin [subscription account] I
frequently have issues. Not in the past two weeks but for months beforehand.
I predict failures soon :)

Called them, at 74 cent a minute to find out that, yes they are having
problems in the 041 and 046 areas. The person asked me what O/S I use, Linux

and if I was using Outlook to fetch my mails???
