It's non-trivial. You need to forge the administrative files. By the
time you've got it figured out, your cvs co should have finished :)
I halfway scripted something like this in my previous job, but left it
behind and incomplete. It might be worth looking at as a project. The
tricky bit is probably figuring out exactly what file versions you
have so you can forge the relevant CVS/Entries lines.
