Colm,

The glue for these has been in place for about three years now.
This is not something new. The glue for ns.isi.ie & ns.homenet.ie
has been in place for significantly longer.

The current setup is due to an ongoing migration of all zones off
ns.isi.ie & ns.homenet.ie. Your diagnosis of the supposed problem
here is not valid as the glue records you refer to were put in
place before those two nameservers were ever put in production.

We are investigating potential problems but have so far found
none.
