It's been quite a while since I've used sendmail, but a quick look
at a sample .mc file quickly reveals this:
FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)
I presume you were using MASQUERADE_AS(some.domain), which won't
masquerade the Return-Path. From what I remember of sendmail, the
above FEATURE should do it.
