Mornin' all,
Right, i'm in a bit of a pickle here. I need to add a file to cvs
to make a release, but the dang thing won't add:
I check out the branch 'linux_gateway':
diamond at inlinux:~/work2(0)> cvs co -r linux_gateway shannon/scu/isup
Copy in my file 'MPR.SBA', and try add it:
diamond at inlinux:~/work2/shannon/scu/isup(0)> cvs add MPR.SBA
cvs server: cannot add file on non-branch tag linux_gateway
Scratch head. Do cvs status on another file in the directory just to
double check that 'linux_gateway' _is_ a branch tag:
diamond at inlinux:~/work2/shannon/scu/isup(0)> cvs status ISUPH.EXE
===================================================================
File: ISUPH.EXE Status: Up-to-date
Working revision: 1.26.4.7
Repository revision: 1.26.4.7 /opt/cvsroot/shannon/scu/isup/ISUPH.EXE,v
Sticky Tag: linux_gateway (branch: 1.26.4)
Sticky Date: (none)
Sticky Options: -kb
Hmm. 'linux_gateway' is definetely a branch tag. Eh?
Can anyone shine any light on this? Google showed up nothing, neither
did the cvs manual.
