[ILUG] question of the day

[ILUG] question of the day

Heads up to Padraig as that is a good tip.

I got a question for you X gurus when running
Wolfenstein on a machine with a CRT monitor I
switch the display to 640*480 in the game.
The game then resizes the display. If I do
ctrl-alt-keypad plus it also resizes the display
so that I can switch between modes. On my laptop
though nothing happens ...... when the game is set
to full screen it just displays the 640 * 480
square at the bottom left hand corner of the screen....
Is this an X limitation with TFT displays or have I done
something cretin like ?

In the screen section I do have a bit like this

 Subsection "Display"
                Depth 16
                Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
        EndSubSection

(dri only supports 1024*768 accel @ 16)

Thanks
Bryan
