Right when I take the Alcatel ADSL modem out of it's box and connect one nic
to one of it's RJ45 out ports and connect the RJ11 to the data port of the
adsl wall jack, bring up the web configuration interface, which protocol
should I use to connect to eircom?
Someone out there must have this configured already, but because I lobbied
to have linux do nat and firewalling as opposed to buying the pertinant
hardware from eircom, eircom have stated they will abstain from helping me
configure the connection.
Thus how in the fsck is this done? I assume someone on the list has done
this already so I would appreciate some input.
