that's a newly installed SuSE 8 machine, with full KDE3 and StarOffice 5.2.
add to that swap, and you're just out of space on a 2G drive, but I haven't
tried to optimise for space at all (it has KDE, WindowMaker, MWM, etc) on it.
(there's 223M in /usr/share/doc, and I'm sure ghostscript could be done away with,
and just use a central print server...)
