Quoting Enda (enda at unison.ie):
> If you want to be proven wrong I suggest you take a look at:
>http://www.suse.co.uk/uk/products/suse_linux/i386/freedom.html> second last paragraph entitled "Everything is permitted"
Now, you're _really_ grasping at straws. That page is a sloppy
ideological manifesto about the virtues of open-source licensing. Which
is all very well, but fails to strip the proprietary rights from owners
of non-publicly-redistributable software included in the boxed sets
(such as Star Office 5.2, VMware, Opera 6.0, Moneydance, Kylix Open
Edition, and IBM Java2).
I'll tell you what: Write to Sun Microsystems's legal department
and inform them that you intend to duplicate and publicly redistribute
sets of SuSE Linux 8.0 Professional CDs including Star Office 5.2. Tell
them that this is a courtesy, because you feel legally entitled to give
copies to anyone you wish. Make sure you cc this mailing list.
