This is the one I set up at $FIRM:  http://www.ircd-hybrid.org/
But I certainly can't claim it's better than alternatives, as it's the 
first thing I found.  Works, anyway.

(The "on RH 6.2 or 7.2" bit wasn't relevant.  "./configure; make; make
install" works just about anywhere.)
