I made sure of that. The camera powers
automatically when connected to the USB cable. I've
tried this under windoze both with and without
batteries installed, and it works fine.
According to the gphoto info, the AstraPix driver
is for testing, or some such. Looking in the relevant
places there doesn't appear to be anything for this
model. I downloaded the source, and compiled it on the
machine at home, but still no sign of anything for
this model, in the source or afterwards.
I'll wait a while for the next update and try
again.
