OK having never looked for mp3s before,
and having got a request by someone, I'm confused.
I downloaded gnapster but then thought that napster.com
is dead. Are there other servers running the napster
protocol, and wouldn't there have to be a central
"clearing house" server in any case? Is gnutella one
of these servers or does it run a different protocol.
Basically what's going on? search engines really break
down once you mention mp3. The amount of signal is
negligible.
In summary I would appreciate if someone could tell me
the best linux client and the best server to connect to.
cheers,
Padraig.
