no-one has produced one benchmark that _proves_ that a distro is faster
if you compile it by hand (rather than getting a precompiled version).

Maybe you'd do us the honour?

rpm's dependencies are fine.. just use a front end which understands them.
next thing you'll tell me dpkg sucks because when I try to do
dpkg --install evolution
it tells me I need gtk.
