Much as I love my little redhat boxes, I do occasionally get irritated
at bells-and-whistles dependancies that RedHat produce in their attempts
to cater to everyone. Such as requiring postgres libs before you can
install XEmacs. But I'm not above rebuilding from source if I really get
upset by this sort of thing. Fact of the matter is I don't have a
significant need to squeeze either space or performance optimizations
out of my systems, so I don't think it's worth the required effort.
