[ILUG] Summer Jobs

[ILUG] Summer Jobs

Mark Finlay linuxexpert at eircom.net
Sun Mar 3 10:51:28 GMT 2002

Hey everyone,
some of you may know me from my posts (or my article on linux.ie :)) ,
but anyway, I'm a 17 y/o, just finished 5th year and I'm looking for a
summer Job.

With the big oul technology downturn I don't know how much of a chance I
have getting anything better that a job in Tesco. It's frustrating
working a cash register when I know that could be doing much more useful
things, even if I amn't making any more money.

So, I'm wondering if anyone know's or works for any companies who might
take on a 'computer whiz kid' for a month or two.

Mark Finlay

ps. My skills include fixing linux/windows problems/installations,
network configuration and implementation, shell scripting, I dont
program in any language in particular but I've done some JAVA/C++,
and well, I still have to find something I cant do with Linux if I put
my mind to it.

Well I dont have any actual qualifications - but anyway, I could be
useful :-)
