Hi Guys,
Wow well what a mad weekend I am having. Decided to do a bit of security
work on a new box I put live. Good fun. Have to recommend SNORT from
snort.org. So far my box may have been attacked over 372 in 24 hours. Damm
code red mostly but a few straign attacks as well.
Anyhow being new to IPChains and Tables I had a long look at the man pages.
Logging is ok but does anyone have any recommendations to improve the
logging.
Anyhow its late and I am having fun. I have to say that when trying to
contact admins of other networks its a pain in the ass. Its like nobody
wants to admint that there network is compromised. You guys ever find this?
Anyhow have fun & thanks in advance
Aj
