Is it possible for anything but "Hello, world" to really be a 'Write once,
run anywhere' Java program ? JREs seem to be a disaster area. I own the Perl
CD bookshelf and I'd love to be able to use the supplied search engine but
it's a Java app. and having wasted quite some time already trying to make it
work, I just gave up in despair.
