Q: Why are all my swing applications running so crap under linux ?
A: Because I was using IBM jdk3.0, using suns jdk 1.4.0 now
and swing apps (jedit) are as smooth and graceful as they were
under windows (hate to admit it but it was true).
PS: It had nothing to do with using KDE (which is an excelent
