Just show them the stories about .NET notworking and the security issues
stories that have popped up in the last few months. Then ask them if
they *really* want to trust their secrets to a company that could not
even protect its own network. :>

Do they have a db backed website that relies on a M$ db like Access or
SQL Server? The solution you probably have submitted is an E-smith one.
That could be what they are basing their claims on. Admittedly it sounds
like the clueless rantings of a the sales droids in a certain hated
telco.
