[ILUG] Access metered by volume

[ILUG] Access metered by volume

Hi all,

I'm on a 24/7 cable connection with a 1GB monthly download limit - is
there any way I can measure how much of my allowance I've used,
get a script to send me a warning if I'm within say 7% (70 MB) of
it, and send me a mail 2 days before the end of the month letting
me know how much I have left to use before the end of the billing
period?

I could probably manage the cron scripts - the difficult bit is
the bandwidth usage measuring. Any way to do it?

Dave.
