Well, if you're willing to change your gateways os again, the eicon diva will 
work fine in RH 7.2. Should work in debian, but the rh configuration tool 
should make it easy to get going. I have mine working here, the network 
configuration tool set it up nicely, except autodial was flaky, so i use two 
scripts neton and netoff,
