[ILUG] FW: (O/T) Moving a Unison box around?

[ILUG] FW: (O/T) Moving a Unison box around?

Gay, John John.Gay at bench.com
Tue Mar 12 00:21:54 GMT 2002

I've an elderly friend who really likes her Unison box. So much so that she
would like to take it around to her other elderly friends to show what the
Internet has to offer.

She asked me how she could re-register this box? when she gets it to other
houses?

I've only seen one of these and have not actually set one up myself. Is
there anything she would need to do once she gets it to her friends house
and connects it up?

I would think it would just work once it's connected but if she plans to
take this any distance she might need to change the dial-up number?

She considers this to be a public service. I know this is slightly
off-topic, but Unison does use Linux and this is an Irish question, so I
can't think of any other forum that might be able to answer these questions
for me.

Thanks for tollerating an O/T question.

Cheers,

	John Gay
