[ILUG] Galeon and gnome

You need to have the gnome libraries installed, be warned though if your
running red hat the easiest way to get it working is to put in the
installation disk change nothing,
get to the bit where you can install packages and choose to install the
gnome desktop as well as kde. You can continue to use kde (which is better
than gnome) but galeon requires
gnome libraries like libgtk ,libgd etc etc which are part of the gnome
desktop.

I've been wanting to try Galeon but its homepage says that it requires
Gnome. Does this mean that you must be running Gnome to use it or simply
that the Gnome libraries must be installed ?

Niall, a contented KDE user.
