Tenses are not the same here - I *understood* wrong. Since then I
have revised my understanding (based on your reply). Now I

Grand. Your standards of accuracy are also noted. I consider that
for the purpose of being useful, rather than exact, to most people,
it is not excessively dishonest to say that a base GNOME install is
needed for Galeon. Of course, if I were being completely honest, I
would list the individual libraries required. But I feel that the
response would be less useful to the majority of people.
