Chipset not supported directly by XFree86 AFAIK so what you're seeing is
probably framebuffer, and almost certainly unaccelerated. Trident went
evil on us and stopped releasing chipset information to the XFree86
people so newer chipsets will feel like a 512KB ISA VGA card. I saw some
claims from Trident that they wrote a Linux driver for T64 but I'll be
damned if I can see it on www.tridentmicro.com.
Time to send them a polite email. That or return the card.
