no it's not. sshd forks when you connect. of course since you're
running 1.2.2 someone has probably already rooted your box. (damn paul
for making me read that in a totally sick way)
anyway, do the install, run the init script with a restart argument,
watch that it comes up again, and try to connect from another window
(which you should do fine).
