[ILUG] first meeting of Midlands ILUG in Peter Clarke's pub, Longford Monday at 8pm

[ILUG] first meeting of Midlands ILUG in Peter Clarke's pub, Longford Monday at 8pm

As per a recent email from Mel in Longford:

"Just been down to Peter Clarke's pub in Dublin St. only a stones' throw
from the Cathedral as you head for the postoffice/town centre. They have a
side-room which would be ideal for us, because we don't have any PCs to plug
in. They don't do sambos or anything but said we can bring some in if
anyone's peckish. Attendees have been warned !"

So--bring your own food! We look forward to getting together. If anyone
has distros they want to bring along, that is fine too. Focal points for
this meeting will be discussing what we hope to get out of our LUG and
sharing ideas about how to proceed.

There will be a wide range of user experience at this meeting. So don't be
put off if you are at one extreme or the other, you will not be alone in
either case!

In fact, in a recent conversation with Mel he told me about some of his
recent activities that were powerful and doable by even a beginner--I'll
keep you in suspense, but it's exciting stuff and downright inspiring.

See you Monday!

Catherine
